Bismuth Triborate (BiB3O6 or BIBO) is a nonlinear optical crystal. It has wide transparency range, large nonlinear coefficient, and stable physical and chemical characteristics. Due to its outstanding performance in frequency conversion processes, it has gained acceptance for applications in scientific research and industry. The top-seeded solution growth (TSSG) technique is used to grow BIBO single crystals.
