1)Light propagated along the longitudinal axis is inverted by 180°.

2)Light incident on the longest face of the prism is retroreflected and inverted by 180°.

Corner Cube Retroreflector

Corner Cube Retroreflectors are designed to reflect the beam entering the prism face, regardless of the orientation of the prism, back onto itself. As a result, corner cube retroreflectors are ideal where precision alignment is difficult or time-consuming. 

Penta Prism

A Penta Prism deviates an input beam or image through 90° without inverting or reversing the image. In addition, the 90° beam deviation is not dependent on a precise alignment of the prism with respect to the incoming beam or image.

Wedge Prism

Wedge Prism is ideal for laser beam steering applications. It deflects a beam normal to the prism's perpendicular surface through an angular deviation.

Wedge prism can be used individually or in combination with another wedge prism for beam steering.
