CLASSIFICATION
Er:Yb:Glass
Categories:
Er:Yb:Glass is an active gain medium, it generates 1535nm laser, which is an eye-safe wavelength. This wavelength is favorable in laser range finding and telecommunication applications. Er,Yb:Glass can be used together with Cobalt Spinel to form a passive Q-switched laser, which can generate short 1535nm laser pulses of less than 10ns. CRYSTECH has developed a unique technique of bonding technology to bond Er,Yb:Glass with Cobalt Spinel. By using this bonding technique, very small bonded crystals can be produced, and it allows engineers to develop miniature lasers based on such small bonded crystals. For more information, please see our product 1535nm bonded crystal.
