Types of insulating glass in Optical Element

Optical Element insulating glass has special ability to absorb, transmit and reflect light and heat. The use of exterior windows and glass curtain walls of buildings can achieve significant energy-saving effects. Commonly used thermal insulation glass includes heat-absorbing glass, coated glass and insulating glass.
 Optical Element
       How does heat-absorbing glass work?
Heat-absorbing glass increases the absorption of light by adding some metal ions or substances to the glass. The shading coefficient of heat-absorbing glass is lower than that of transparent glass. Its shading principle is to reduce the number of times entering the room by absorbing the solar energy of the optical lens.
Disadvantage: Heat-absorbing glass blocks some of the solar radiation heat in summer or winter, so it can be used to block the heat from the south instead of the north. Heat-absorbing glass actually absorbs radiation, and the heat absorbed by the glass will eventually be transferred indoors and out. The heat-absorbing glass is not selective to the spectrum, which not only reduces the transmittance of sunlight, but also hinders the projection of visible light and affects the lighting.

       How does coated glass work?
The purpose of coating glass is to coat one or more layers of metal, alloy or metal compound on the glass surface to change the properties of the glass. According to different characteristics, it can be divided into heat-reflective glass and low-emissivity glass.

       1. Heat reflective glass
The surface of the heat-reflecting glass is coated with a metal film and some interference layers, so that the glass products can reflect more solar radiation, achieve the effect of shading, and have rich colors. The role is to limit the solar radiation entering the room.
Disadvantages: The thermal insulation performance of heat reflective glass is no different from that of transparent glass, so it is not suitable for laser lenses in cold areas with large indoor temperature differences, but in hot areas with strong light, its thermal insulation effect is very good. Reflective glass can not only reflect the heat radiated by the sun, but also limit the entry of visible light, which adversely affects indoor lighting. In addition, too high reflectivity will lead to light pollution, too low to achieve energy saving effect.

       2. Low-E glass
The low-E coating is formed on the glass surface by vacuum deposition. The function of the low-E coating is to reflect far-infrared radiation and effectively reduce the heat transfer coefficient of the glass high-power laser mirror group; secondly, it reflects solar heat radiation and selectively reduces shading coefficient; at the same time, compared to heat-reflective glass, low-e glass does not limit the penetration of visible light.
Disadvantages: Due to the poor strength of the film, insulating glass is generally used rather than used alone.

In the process of plane planetary grinding, the wear uniformity of the grinding disc is closely related to the grinding quality of the optical lens. By analyzing the motion law of Optical Element in the process of plane planetary grinding, the calculation model of rail mirror trajectory and workpiece motion speed under the condition of differential gear train is established, and Matlab simulation program is compiled.
